The 16th Annual Beach Dads Club Pancake Breakfast is back: Sunday, September 12th, 9am-noon. Expect the same fun, relaxed event of years past with some 2021-style modifications: outdoor masking, small distanced tables for eating, and ample to-go containers if you’d like to show your support but skip the tables. Volunteers will also organize chalk art on the Blacktop throughout the event and past noon, so don’t miss out even if you have other brunch plans.
This event depends greatly on volunteers. In fact, past Beach Dads are coming out of the woodwork to relive the glory of past Pancake Breakfasts. As one seasoned Pancake Padre recently said:
“Seldom in life does a volunteer role give back as deliciously as the Pancake Breakfast.”
Don’t miss the fun. Email Gran Padre Will at email@example.com to claim a prime volunteer spot.
Piedmont Harvest Festival. The City of Piedmont is excited for the return of the Harvest Festival, now in its 23rd year, taking place on Sunday, September 19th at 11am-3pm. This is a great community-wide event that also highlights our schools and students. Please keep a lookout in the Beach Bulletin and room parent emails for more details about student-made scarecrows and other volunteer activities. Reach out to our school’s Harvest Festival rep, Aliyah or email BPO and we’ll relay the message (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Finally, don’t forget about noon dismissal tomorrow (Thursday), which allows the school to prepare for Back to School Night.
