Site Council

The Site Council is comprised of teachers, parents and principals. The Site Council meets six times during the school year to monitor and review the established school site plan. The plan ensures that the school is engaged in identifying and implementing curriculum and instructional practices that result in both strengthening the core academic program and ensuring that students have access to and success in that program. It is a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas with our school’s staff and gain insight into current teaching philosophies.

Our TriSchool Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) articulates how our elementary schools will work towards our current district goals over the course of the school year, which include:

  • Goal #1: All students feel physically safe, emotionally cared for, and academically and socially included in their school environment.
  • Goal #2: All students graduate with the 21st century learning skills needed for college and careers.
  • Goal #3: All students engage in rigorous, relevant, and differentiated learning experiences where they make connections among disciplines.

Over the course of the school year, there will also be an emphasis on generating new goals for the next three years in PUSD. All parents and community members who would like to participate in this process are welcome to attend the next LCAP/TriSchool Site Council meeting.
