Pancakes are the best to way to start the new school year

On Sunday, September 12, from 9am – 12 noon, join the Beach Dads Club for the 16th Annual Pancake Breakfast at Beach Elementary School.

After a year away, celebrate the new school year and catch up with old friends and new, in a fun, socially-distanced, community pancake celebration. Enjoy a plate of made-from-scratch buttermilk, blueberry, chocolate chip, or oatmeal pancakes, plus sausage, bacon, fresh fruit and Highwire coffee, all prepared by the Beach Dads Club.

Tickets can be purchased at the event, $10 for adults and $5 for kids and seniors. The Beach Dads Club will also have a to-go option if you want to pickup your pancake breakfast and take it home. For those who want to pay in advance, tickets can be purchased at bit.ly/BeachPancake2021

The Beach Dads thank local businesses who have helped make the event a success over the past 16 years–Piedmont Grocery, Mulberry’s Market, Village Market, Highwire Coffee, and the Piedmont Post.

The Beach Dads Club (BDC)

The Beach Dads Club (BDC) exists to foster community and social connections among the Dads while accomplishing special projects that have been identified as important to the Beach School community, whether physical or cultural. The club raises money to fund these projects by sponsoring creative and fun community events.

The Beach Dads Club (also known as the “Baja Padres”) recognizes that families come in many forms, and we enthusiastically welcome all of them into our community. The “Beach Dads” label can fit any parent or guardian regardless of gender or sexual orientation, so join us and become a padre!
