Saturday, March 23rd
Assigned times between 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Each K-4 class will be assigned a 30-minute time slot, and 5th grade will get 90 minutes. Directors and performers need only be present during their assigned time. There will be a one-hour lunch break from 12:00 – 1:00 for those who will be there all day (band, tech personnel, etc.)
Please fill out the form on this page to indicate any times you know you will not be available that day.
This is your time to run through your song as many times as you would like with the band. We will work out technical issues such as lighting, props, entrances, exits, and microphone usage.
K-4 directors will hand out costumes to performers after your session, and they will return the next day in costume for the Dress Rehearsal. 5th graders will come to Dress Rehearsal in their base layers and costumes will be waiting for them.
Sunday, March 24th
Call time for 5th Grade: 1:15 p.m.
Call time for K-4: 1:45 p.m.
Curtain time: 2:00 p.m.
As much as possible, we try to run this like a performance. Things move fast once the show starts, so make sure you have everything ready before curtain time.
5th Graders will assemble in their classrooms. K-4th graders will meet their directors in front of school and enter together to sit in their assigned spaces in the auditorium. Runners will let you know when it is time for your class to head backstage.
Directors and parent volunteers will accompany their children in the hallway to the bottom of the music room stairs. Directors will enter the auditorium and proceed to the directors’ chairs in front of the stage while backstage volunteers manage getting performers on and off stage.
After your performance, please meet performers outside by the music room exit. You will then proceed to have your cast photo taken and then return to the auditorium for the remainder of the show.
